About Solve By Change

Solve By Change was born out of the deep purpose to equip people, start-ups and organisations with the right skills, mindset and behaviours to navigate the bitter-sweet journey called life. Life is not a straight line, ups inevitably are followed by lows and so on. At school we are however not taught how to deal with set-backs, hard change and uncomfortable feelings. Yet, some people seem to bounce back from their lows like rubber balls. They do not have a superpower which is inaccessible to others but have built a skill called resilience. This is the capacity of a person but also a company to maintain its core purpose in the face of dramatically changed circumstances. Resilience is like life itself, messy, imperfect and sometimes even inefficient. It does not make change easier, but it helps us survive and recover.

Behind Solve By Change is Sophie Bayley, a hopeless optimist, dreamer and resilience builder. Having followed a traditional business path as a consultant with over seven years in supporting companies on their innovation journey I am now following my passion to normalize the bittersweet by SHARING our stories, navigate the bittersweet with a GROWTH mindset and INSPIRE each other to create a more positive, compassionate, human world.
